Stainless Steel Plate: Divided into Cold Rolled Plate and Hot Rolled Plate

1. Common Specifications (Thickness × Width × Length)

• Cold Rolled Thin Plate (0.68–3.0mm)                                • Width: 1000mm, 1219mm (4 feet), 1500mm

• Length: 2000mm, 2438mm, 3000mm, 4000mm                 • Common sizes: 1220×2440, 1500×3000

• Hot Rolled Medium and Thick Plate (3.0–100mm)         • Width: 1250, 1500, 1800, 2000mm

• Length: mainly 6000mm, can be customized from 3000 to 12000mm

2. Length and Width

• Standard plates: 1220×2440, 1500×3000, 1500×6000

• Can be cut to length as required: any length can be customized

• 304/304L: density 7.93          • 316L: density 7.98                • 201: density 7.93

4. Surface Types

• No.1: hot rolled pickled, industrial surface               • 2B: cold rolled matte, most commonly used

• BA: bright surface, polished feel       • HL: brushed (hairline)               • 8K: mirror

• Others: matte, etched, embossed, titanium coated, etc.

5. Main Applications

• 2B plates: kitchenware, home appliances, decoration, boxes, equipment panels               • Brushed/Mirror: elevators, storefronts, decoration, display cabinets

• Thick plate No.1: chemical equipment, pressure vessels, steel structures, molds               • 316L: seawater, chemical, medical, food equipment

6. Stock Situation

• Regular stock: 304/2B, 316L/2B, 430/2B                    • Thickness: 0.68–3.0mm most abundant

• Width: 1219, 1500mm usually available                     • Thick plate 3–60mm generally requires order or limited stock

7. Packaging Methods

• Ordinary packaging: moisture-proof paper, corner protectors, steel banding                  • Standard packaging: wooden pallet, film covering, corner protectors, strapping

• Export sea shipment: anti-rust paper, desiccant, PE film, iron corner protectors, wooden pallet
